MajorDad: Tried to make a maintenance visit a couple times since disabling, but always stymied by construction crews. The project looks to be a big one and might take a few more months. That will certainly affect approaching the cache from the way (and so many others) did... via the fishermuggle's trail. You can still get to GZ via the posted waypoints, but it's rather dangerous due to one area of crumbling clay along the coral and yet another due to the heavy thickets all over the rocks. The only "safe" and unencumbered way to GZ is to swim and that's not advisable either due to proximity to the base and trash beach... not to mentioned heavy waves crashing into sharp coral.
In addition, the area now shows evidence of fishermuggle activity directly at the cache site! I spotted some netting over the very large rock the can once hid behind. Perhaps someone popped it open looking for lures and never resealed it; I don't know.
So because the approach lanes are no longer in accordance with the cache write up and the can/contents are clearly destroyed, I'm archiving this one. Perhaps once construction work is completed and we assess the new landscape, it'll be a nice area once again for a coastal cache. But for now, ta ta and thanks to all who visited through the years!
