(DE) Malcesine ist eine Stadt am Ostufer des Gardasees mit etwa 3500 Einwohnern. Es wird häufig als "Perle des Gardasees" bezeichnet und da war bis jetzt noch kein Cache? Das haben wir in unserem Urlaub schnell geändert… 
Geprägt ist das Bild durch die Altstadt mit ihren vielen engen Gassen und der von weithin sichtbaren Skaligerburg. Diese steht auf einem Felsvorsprung direkt am Ufer des Sees und gewährt vom Turm aus einen Blick über den Ort und den Nordteil des Sees. Zur Burg der Skaliger kommt man in Malcésine fast von alleine, wenn man sich von der Ortsmitte in nördlicher Richtung hält und immer bergauf geht. Die Burg stammt aus dem 13-ten Jahrhundert. In der Burg befindet sich ein echt sehenswertes Museum, das Informationen über den Gardasee sowie die Flora und Fauna der ganzen Region enthält. Es ist ein außergewöhnliches Museum, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat und den Eintrittspreis rechtfertigt. Eine richtig gute Aussicht auf den See und auf den Monte Baldo hat man, wenn man die 114 Stufen des 30 Meter hohen Turmes hinaufsteigt. 
Die Burg muß zum Heben des Caches nicht betreten werden!!! (EN) Malcesine is a town on the eastern shore of the lake with about 3500 inhabitants. It is often called "the pearl of Lake Garda”, known and as yet there was no cache? We have changed quickly in our vacation ... The picture is dominated by the old town with its many narrow streets and by the conspicuous Scaliger Castle. This stands on a promontory on the shores of the lake from the tower and provides a view of the city and the northern part of the lake. The castle of the Della Scala family to get in Malcesine, almost by itself, if one of the center in a northerly direction and always keep going uphill. The castle dates from the 13-th century. In the castle is a really interesting museum that contains information about the lake and the flora and fauna of the region. It is an unusual museum, which has really liked, and justifies the price of admission. A really good view of the lake and Monte Baldo has one, if you climb the 114 steps of the 30 meter high tower. The castle must not be entered for the lifting of the cache!
