Located in Black Covert Woodlands near to Trawscoed. The cache is in a 1 litre official geocache tupperware container which is wrapped in a blue carrier bag for extra protection and camouflaging. It can be reached on foot from the Black Covert Forestry Commission Car Park and Picnic Site by following a marked trail. 30-40 Minute round walk from car park.
Black Covert is a mainly coniferous plantation with occasional beech groves situated on the banks of the River Ystwyth with several marked footpaths and viewpoint benches. The trails are mostly flat but uneven in places with some constructed steps and bridges. It is an excellent place for picnics and short circular walks
