This is one in a series of caches that we have hidden that will position you so that you can view one of Modesto's historical landmarks or points of interest after the find.
Cords listed are for the cache, not the landmark. Location may confuse your GPS.
This building was originally the City Library. Oramil McHenry bequeathed the land to the city when he died in 1906. Construction began in October 1911, and the library was dedicated in April 1912. Although it is no longer a library, it still holds a wealth of information and history. Take time to check-out the place, and bring the kids along!
