Please use extreme caution when geocaching!
Or, cache on Sundays when no hunting is permitted.
If vehicles are observed on the sides of the road,
there are probably hunters in the area!
Beware the Boogeyman!
It is the month of all Hallows Eve, and,
a cache to commemorate this was only fitting!
This one DOES HOWEVER have a twist to go with it -
in order to claim it,
YOU MUST SIGN THE LOG!
No excuses, substitute logs or signed signature items
will be accepted, only the cache log!
To get to the cache(s) in the area,the trailhead is almost directly across the street
from the parking area (coordinates approximated).
Parking area is a dirt pulloff large enough for several cars;
other areas are nearby; this is the closest to the trailhead.
Trail starts behind the 3 large boulders blocking it from ATV access.
When leaves are on the ground, the trail may be somewhat hard to see.
The trail heads straight back from the rocks about 100 yards, then turns off to the right at about 30 degrees.
A short distance up the main trail will yield an ATV trail/old woods road off to the left at about 90 degrees.
Follow your gps...duh!
This cache (and others of mine in the area) are directly off the trails (less than 100'), requiring only minor bushwhacking.

requires a hiking permit.
