This really is an easy grab for most folks. There is an open trail and easy bushwhacking. You will need to be somewhat trusting and limber when reaching for the cache.
Since my Dad had worked at this tree nursery for over 20yrs before his retirement I thought it would be fitting to place a cache in his favorite area. He chose the glacial esker formation that one of the main road/pathways run along. It is a winding ridge of sand left over from the glaciers. There are quite a few wet places in the Forest but this one is high and dry.
There are a number of choices for parking like the ones set up inside the centre. My preferred location is the larger trail parking lot found along County Rd 44 north of Kemptville (it's the furthest north of the 2 parking lots along this stretch of road).
