Geocache Description:

*Bug

We placed this cache this weekend as a family after having learned that our four year-old son, Buglet Wood, was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

We have since replaced the container in July 2012, two months after finding out that Vincent actually has a hyperplastic corpus callosum and hypothalamic autonomic dysfunction caused an extremely large brain cyst. He's had three brain surgeries in the period between May 2012 - July 2012.

We gone three times to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota during 2014 and have found that he has a couple of rare disorders -- Balint & Shapiro Syndromes, in addition to the large cyst. He is currently being closely watched by a team of specialists.

This cache is dedicated to our only son, who is the sunshine in our lives. Anyone who has met him on a caching excursion and seen the sheer joy emanate from him while he hunts is never quite the same again. He has an enthusiasm for life that is just infectious. If he sees someone sad, he'll walk up and say "Don't Give up. Never give up. Keep Trying." We'll never give up on making sure he has the very best we can provide for him.

The Buglet has been caching since he was an infant and his own personal coin (TB1FNZN - activated on his birthdate) has logged all of his finds and mileage since he started this hobby.

Every time we walk across a bridge, he wants to check and see if a cache is hidden there, so we indulged him and placed a container in the exact spot he pointed to.

You will be looking for a small painted Altoids tin with a bagged log and a Woodland Clan FTF poker chip. We thought it only fitting to place a Diabetes TB in the cache to start off. It's another disease that impacts many families.
