A secluded area of bush in Ngaio where you can come to hear the Tuis sing and listen to the creek babble its way to the sea.
Park at the end of Orleans Street and walk up the chained off drive to the grassy field. Cross the field, and enter the bush at the eastern end of the clearing. From this point onwards you are on your own. Tree cover and marginal GPS cover, should be fun.
Observe the reserve sign and the wind blown logo, nothing “Absolutely Positively Wellington” here, almost a collectors item.
The cache is located just off one of the tracks in the bush. We suggest that you don’t try this doing one in your suit and tie and Ferragamo loafers.
You are looking for a 200ml sistema container.
