Harry Callahan returned in the movie “Magnum Force,”
which was also filmed in San Francisco, which many of the
scene’s are in areas that are covered by six San Francisco
Police districts. Each of these districts have a station, and it is
at these stations you will need to visit to find the clues you
need. This is a film canister sized cache located somewhere in San
Francisco.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates, however, it is the
starting point. In order to find this cache. You will need to visit
several police stations in San Francisco. Each police station
(Except the Hall of Justice) will have a plaque attached to the
outside wall. It is on these plaques in which you find the numbers
you will need in order to plot the coordinates for the cache. All
these locations, as well as the cache, are accessible 24 hours. The
locations and the cache are handicap accessible as well.

A - Starting Point, the Hall of Justice - The coordinates stated
above - To solve for “A” walk through the main entrance
of the Hall of Justice. You need not walk through the metal
detectors. As soon as you are through the entrance, turn around and
look up. You should be staring at a large metal art sculpture
entitled “”Salute To Liberty.” To obtain the
numeric value for “A,” there are two different years on
the plaque directly at the lower right hand corner. Of the two
dates, take the earlier year’s last digit.
B- Ingleside Police Station - To solve for “B,”
there is a quote on the plaque. How many letters are in the first
word of the quote?
C - Mission Police Station - To solve for “C,” there
is a four digit year on the plaque. What is the first digit?
X - Park Police Station - To solve for “X,” there is
a Sergeants star mounted to the plaque. What is the second
digit?
Y - Taraval Police Station - To solve for “Y,” there
is a plaque with a vehicle on it. If the vehicle is a car, then
Y=3. If the vehicle is a boat, then Y=5. If the vehicle is an
airplane, then Y=7. If the vehicle is a helicopter, then Y=0.
Z - Bayview Police Station - To solve for “Z,” there
is a plaque which says, Bayview Police Station. How many letters
are in the last name of the Director of Public Works?
Make sure you use EXTREME stealth since this area is highly
populated throughout the day.
Bring your own writing utensil.
I have decided to have a little bit more fun with this series, and
give a little, but neat, prize to the first person who posts
pictures of the found caches on the corresponding cache pages. So,
you need not be the first to find on all of them, but you will need
to be the first to post the pictures for all five caches on their
cache pages.
Congratulations to jara8055 for ANOTHER FTF!
