Geocache Description:

Sandy Creek is one of the important waterways in Western Brisbane that provides refuge and travel corridors for wildlife. It’s headwaters are in the Springfield area and it flows north through a variety of landscapes – from native bushland to industrial estates. It joins with Wolston Creek before entering the Brisbane River near River Hills.

This site is quite pretty. You may see a turtle basking on the weir if you approach quietly.

There is a rough dirt track from Campbell Av that will take you to GZ, or park on Campbell Av and walk to the cache. There is no parking or access to the cache from the north.
