Das Burgenlandkreis Gymnasium Laucha an der Unstrut hat einen schulinternen Schwerpunkt Luftsport/Luft-&Raumfahrt und betreibt einen schuleigenen Weinberg.
In verschiedenen Varianten existiert der Spruch mit Verweis auf unterschiedliche Quellen z.B. altes Sprichwort, altes osteuropäisches Sprichwort, alte chinesische Weisheit, J. W. v. Goethe ... statistisch siegt Goethe im Internet.
Für das Burgenlandkreis Gymnasium Laucha in südlichen Sachsen-Anhalt bedeutet dies, neben der Abiturausbildung auch weitere Betätigungsfelder für Schüler anzubieten wie einerseits eine AG Segelflug, AG Flugmodellbau, Unterricht im Fach „Luft- und Raumfahrt“ und die Möglichkeit, eine Pilotenlizenz zu erwerben – andererseits eine AG Weinbau und Unterricht im Fach „Chemie/Weinbau“ mit der Möglichkeit, eigenen Wein zu produzieren und zu vermarkten.
