Located on the Cypress Trail, with access from nearby Dillon Park, this section of the trail starts at the fence and continues north to Cypress Park. The cache coordinates can serve as the waypoint for where the trail forks, looping around the north section of the trail. This is where the marked trail crosses the golf course.
I've encountered a barking dog a couple of times along this section of the trail. It will either stand way off and bark or will turn tail at first sight. It appears to be no threat to hikers and will run away, barking all the way, at the least bit of encouragement.
In the immediate search area, the tree cover is heavy; the terrain is sandy and level. The container only contains a log sheet, so bring your own pen. Located just off the trail, there may be others passing by occasionally, so watch carefully.
Please replace the cache as found, and don’t leave any spoilers or decoys in the area, as they might attract muggles.
