I was caching in
Jefferson City MO last week and saw a Steeplechase Cache. I
liked the idea of this, and thought Springfield should have at
least one of these, so here's my Southwest Springfield
Steeplechase.
To simplify your
search, you do not need to go out of these boundaries:
North - Sunshine
Street
South - James River
Expressway
East - National
Avenue
West - Kansas
Expressway
Get out there
and find these steeples!
A.
If you
park in one of the special "Senior Parking" spaces, how many more
of these spaces are left for others to park in?
B.
How many
benches are there in the front of the building?
C.
How many
lights are in the parking lot?
D.
How many
windows are on the West side of the building? Add
1.
E.
Add up the
numbers on the back of the utility box near the entrance to the
parking lot.
This
steeple is currently GONE! I hope they put it back, but for
now, I will just tell you that this is the Park Crest Baptist
Church.
