This cache is on the way to my 'Quintessential Kootenay Lake' cache.
I added this cache to provide a little more incentive to hike down to Pebble Beach Park. I also placed it at a great view point with a rustic bench so any tired cachers can sit & enjoy the view. This is located before the really steep part of the trail, so if you don't do steep well, you could stop here & find a cache & not have to go all the way down to the beach.
The parking spot is at the trailhead for Pebble Beach Park - located at N49 48.889 W116 50.851. This is a few kilometers north of Riondel, the last 2 kms are on a bumpy dirt road.
