Geocache Description:

The brochure says this quilt square can be seen from I40. It also may be reached by a road that runs north along I40 westward from 92, and then crosses the Interstate. This square is on the Franklin farm barn, built in 1943, and honors the lodge of Linda’s father, Elmer Bowman. The Odd Fellows donated land in Knoxville in 1880 for a black cemetery, and have donated land for cemeteries in other cities across the country.

Permission has been given by the Franklins to pull off the road into the bottom of their driveway to seek the cache. They also are open to visitors coming up the drive to photograph the quilt square. Cache is a camo painted prescription bottle, with small swag and a log. BYOP. It is hidden to the left of the sidewalk / steps to the front porch, close to the driveway.
