Geocache Description:

Western Lawn Ornaments is located along the 33 Mile Stock Trail, an historic route to the Red Wall area and the Big Horn Mountains for outlaws and drovers…sometimes one and the same.

Follow Bucknum Road/County Road 125 north from U.S. 20-26. Stay on 33 Mile Road (follow the Scenic Backway signs until you are next to the coordinates). Try this only in dry weather. Take food and water. Be sure to have a full tank of gas. There are no services for at least 100 miles, assuming you take the full Backway route. High clearance vehicles with 4-wheel drive are recommended. Don’t count on your cell phone to work. You’re on your own out here.
Park near the edge of the road and walk over the grassy hills to the right until you reach the right red rock outcropping. After a short climb over loose boulders…you’re there. The cache contains a log, writing utensils and group of cowboys and Indians, along with a teepee and campfire. A lot for small ammo can.
