On the top of the North Mountain there’s a great little road
called Baxter’s Harbor Road...follow the road to the end (while you take in this breathtaking view of Harbour and Cape Split)
Once at the bottom of the hill and the end of the road, you
will hang a left onto the dirt road “ Old Baxter Mill Road”
The first bridge you come to, this is where you want to park!!!

Welcome to my playground as a child... This was our secret...
Enter the woods from the south side of the bridge and follow
the path to the natural stream pools.
Further up, along the stream...there are a series of small,
deep pools, we used the rocks and moss as waterslides into the next pool down. WHAT GREAT FUN WE HAD!!! So.. in the summer, please bring your swimming gear and towels and go for a refreshing dip!
***CAUTION*** The moss is very slippery on the rocks along
the streams edge. * I slipped and fell on my butt while trying to place the cache,so I have decided to let you people explore the pools yourself,and I will put the cache away from the water edge! ( PLEASE GO AND EXPLORE, UPSTREAM! IT"S BEAUTIFUL)
