Geocache Description:

Union Springs needed a cache. Located behind the Trinity Episcopal Church is the Old City Cemetery and the Log Cabin of Reuben Rice Kirkland (1829 - 1915). The Old City Cemetery is also known by the locals as the Confederate Cemetery and is home to twenty two Confederate soliders. The log cabin home of Reuben Kirkland was built in 1850 and is located behind the cemetery. Come visit Reuben and see if he might have left any cache hiding around!
