What: rvjn and rvlonnie ( Those Darn RVers ) are headed south for the Winter...Let's give them a nice send off.
Where: Gino's Pizza, 1324 Virginia Ave., North Bend, OR
When: Saturday, October 17th, 6:00PM till 9:00ish
Why: To bid a fond fairwell to our South Coast adopted geocaching friends.
Let's get together with rvjn ( Jean ) and rvlonnie ( Lonnie ) one last time before they head south to their wintertime caching home somewhere far away.
Everyone bring a Geocaching related trade item for the swap table...... a camoed container, batteries, geocoin, TB dogtag or whatever you think another cacher might like to have.
Those Darn RVers came to town in early July and ended up staying all Summer. They found a centrally located place to park their RVs so they would be close to any new caches that popped up in town. After finding nearly 400 caches here on the Coast, surpassing their 2000th find, during their stay here, Jean and Lonnie suddenly both bought new Garmin Oregon GPSrs. With training tips from Bad Duck and Popop on their new high tech equipment, Those Darn RVers have already grabbed their share of FTFs, leaving us local cachers wondering if they will ever leave.
Just Kidding ....Hope They Can Come Again Next Summer.
