Geocache Description:

The Te Araroa ( The Long Pathway ) passes through the Park and this section is part of the 22km walkway from Waikanae to Paekakariki.

This is the first of a series of my traditional caches along the Mackay's crossing Beach area South towards Paekakariki.
Best arrived at by turning off SH1 at Mackay's Crossing exits and following the road West through the park to the beach.
Make sure you note the park gate closing times if you are in a car.



The cache is a well camouflaged micro and needs to be replaced in a like manner.
Watch out for muggles who may appear from any direction on foot, bike, in a car or on horseback.
If you are on horseback make sure you use a hitching rail adjacent to the cache area.
