3rd in the Bridges of Centre Hastings series.
Located at a Control Dam, where the Moira River flows out of
Moira Lake & wends its way to Stoco Lake in Tweed. The control
dam regulates water levels in Moira Lake to increase the
recreational value of the lake & to provide for higher lake
levels in the fall.
This bridge, like the Carss Road & Lost Channel bridges are
somewhat unique & will soon disappear in favour of more
functional but less aesthetic designs. Lets enjoy them while we
still can.
There is a small parking area near the Moira Lake Control Dam
sign from which you can explore a section of the river if you so
wish.
