Geocache Description:

This cache is located a rural cemetery on Killsnake Road near Chilton. The math to find the final coordinates is easy. If your kids are with you, have them do the math.

The cache is located in a small cemetery across the road from a picturesque old country church. The church is as beautiful inside as it is outside. Couples frequently ask to have their wedding ceremony performed there, but I am told the only weddings held there are for church members.

You will not be able to drive through the cemetery. You can park in the church parking lot, directly across from the cemetery. Pedestrians can enter through the wrought iron gates on either side of the large stone entrance.

The cemetery has a blend of older markers and new markers. To find the final coordinates for this cache you need to locate the markers for baby Elmer and his parents.

N 44 A . BCD
W 88 E . FGH

A – The number of letters in Elmer’s fathers first name.
B - The number of letters in Elmer’s mothers first name divided by 2.
C - The third digit from the year Elmer’s mother passed away.
D - Subtract the year the cemetery was established from the year Elmer was born.
E - Subtract the second digit of Elmer’s birth year from his age in days when he passed away.
F - The number of letters in Elmer’s last name.
G - The number of Hibiscus’ planted in this cemetery.
H - The third digit from the year Elmer’s father passed away.

The cache container is a small camo’d spice container. Bring your own pen. Take care when removing the cover, it will screw on and off. Replace the container so it is not easily visible to the casual cemetery visitor. The container is not in contact with any gravestones, monuments or other memorials. Please respect the area.

Congratulations to randynmel on the FTF.
