Geocache Description:

Hike is 60 metre elevation gain in a fairly steep climb. You will be climbingg up a fairly steep rock hill which can be slippery in wet weather. Please use caution and wear appropriate footwear. Climbing gear is not required.

Cache is a camo'd micro. Logbook only. Bring your own pen.

Cache location is just off Hwy 41 just north of a closed down restaurant called the Moosehorn.

I have noticed this rockface everytime I drive to work in Denbigh, so I finally made the climb up. The view is great you can see both Macivoy and Irving Lakes. Definately worth the climb in my opinion.

Cache will be changed to a larger container soon, but for now the micro will get you up there.

You can park on the road by the snowmobile trail that leads you to the base of the hill. It is a short hike (approx 200 metres) into the base of the hill. But be careful as the shoulder is very narrow. There may be room for 1 vehicle just up the trail, but you will have to be sure to have your car all the way off the trail. Alternately you can park approx 1/2 km north up the road in a larger road way which intersects the same snowmobile trail.

I will add the waypoints for the trailhead and alternate parking within the next week

Be careful during hunting season (mid Oct to mid Dec)
