Geocache Description:

A small bison tube cache hidden on one of the hidden treasures of City Beach.

The Happy Tree celebrates some of the characters of the children's story of the same name. The 'creator/carer' of the tree has spent some 30 years growing the tree and creating and placing the various characters from the story around the tree. The children of City Beach have enjoyed this little treasure for all those years and I thought I would share it with the rest of Perth. The tree is a little off its best having lost a whole trunk in the recent storms so some of the characters are in temporary retirement, nonetheless still worth a visit.

I have the owners permission to hide the cache on it but he is concerned that there may be damage caused by searchers. Please be careful around the tree as I will have to withdraw the cache if he is in any way unhappy.

This should be quite an easy one to find, it is not so much a kid friendly cache as a kid-compulsory cache. If you don't have somebody under 10 in your life to share this with then at least bring your inner child along.

To be completely clear the cache is not hidden on, behind or even near the characters. Please be sure to hide it securely or it will surely go the way of its film canister predecessor.
