Walkies Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

BatGirlandCo: The area is still under construction and will be for a while. As I am reasonably sure the cache container would have been damaged or lost during the flooding I think it is safe to bid farewell to this one.

Geocache Description:

It's a traditional - how hard could it be....ummm...ok...it's a very small traditional in a bush setting so these do tend to be harder to find.

I've certainly spent my fair share of time searching furtively around rocks and crevices in the past (and more than likely will continue to do so) - thought it was time to actually know where something was for a change. As the name might suggest to you this is a dog-friendly area - my geo-hound absolutely adores it although be warned - geo-pets may return very dirty! (Mine always does anyway.) There are good trails to within 25m of GZ....you might get a bit wet and mucky on that last little bit though.

Also please note that GZ is located on a stream/river so could well be prone to high water levels at times - it is not recommended to attempt this cache during or after any decent rainfall.

Personally I have always found rivers to be very peaceful and relaxing places (when they're not in flood) - the sounds of the water running, frogs and birds. So one very important point to remember - after the furtive searching - it's always nice to sit for a spell, watch the world go by and remember just how nice it is.
