30 cal. ammo. box hidden in local park
After living in Jonesville for more than 40 years I wanted other people to enjoy the quaint village, hence, my Discover Historic Jonesville series. The hamlet was named for the founder James Jones. It was a stop on the early stagecoach route from Albany to Saratoga. Many of the older homes still standing were built in the early 1800's.
The cache is in a local neighborhood park. There is a parking lot on Main St. next to the tennis courts. The park is open from 7am-10pm and is checked so nighttime caching is discouraged. The idea of this cache is to trade recipes. It will be stocked with copies of some of my favorite recipes. Feel free to take a copy and to either leave a copy of one of yours or e-mail a recipe to me which I can make copies of and restock the cache. It also holds trade items and has started with crayons, an activity book and head band for the little ones.
