Holben Parade Reserve (Foxton) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Growly Bear: As this cache has been in need of CO attention for too long, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

A quick nano while the kids play at the park. (Accuracy of GZ coords +/- 4m)

Foxton Beach has a few little parks hidden away, this is one of them.

The park had a makeover (in Oct 2009), and is now looking very good. The park contains a playground, tennis courts, a skateboard park, and some public toilets. The kids may also be interested in wandering over towards the river (under the watchful eyes of their parents) and play in the mini-forest that is nearby.

The cache is located in a gazebo overlooking a duck pond. You will want to have a stretch while in the gazebo to cover your 'searching'. It is a nano containing only a logsheet on waterproof paper, so please bring your own pen.

Please use stealth when retrieving and re-hiding the cache as you are in quite a popular park. Oh, and don't drop it or you will be going for a swim to find it.
