Geocache Description:

A nice little cache placed in a nice little cul-de-sac along a nice little trail at a nice little reservoir. Please only cache during park hours of 8 a.m. until sunset.

In celebration of finding two of popeye2's Terrain Challenge caches this week, I decided to place a non-Terrain Challenge cache that almost anybody should be able to grab. The cache is located in Stevens Creek County Park along the Loop Trail, which branches off from the Stevens Creek Tony Look trail near the Reservoir Junction cache. There is PO in the vicinity of the cache, but none at the cache location (although there is a bit of wild blackberry there). There is no need to bushwhack -- the cache can be grabbed from the trail.
When the reservoir water level is down, easiest access is from the dam, with the only tricky part being navigation of the spillway. When the water level is up, the recommended approach is from the picnic areas below the dam. There is a parking fee if you park inside park boundaries, but some roadside parking is available at the dam, as well as near the Just a short HOP from the Dam cache.
