Nailed It! Multi-Cache

The Harrisburg area has a few forgotten former industrial areas. One such area is the former Harrisburg Nail Works in West Fairview. The Nail Works were at this location from 1842 to 1890. At its height the company produced 6300 tons of nails annually. It was dismantled in the early 1900s.
A member of the Historical Society of East Pennsboro visited the Tremont Nail Company in Massachusetts. The company gave the Township a working nail machine similar to those used in the West Fairview mill.
It was decided to display the machine in a replica of the old mill. Part one will take you to the Nail Museum in Adams-Ricci Park. The museum was locked every time I visited. There is a sign telling you to contact the Historical Society of East Pennsboro for a private tour.
Look on the front of the building for the year the museum was built to determine the coordinates of the cache at the location of the old factory in West Fairview Park. Park at the parking coordinates. No Shortcuts.
The cache is at N 40 16.ABC W 076 55.DEF
