This is an easy park and grab on Riverside Drive in Welch, where the Route 52 Bypass intersects.
The French Gratitude Train was presented to the people of West Virginia after World War II for our assistance in both World Wars. Initially, it was neglected and fell into disrepair, but was later brought to Welch where students at the Vo-Tech school repaired it. Now it is located at the Welch town limits at the site of a War Veterans Memorial park.
Be careful... there are muggles everywhere since this is a busy intersection (and the only stop light in the whole county!).
