Geocache Description:

This cache is located along a trail north of Chino Hills State Park, and east of the Klemmer U. The trail will take you to the LA County / Orange County border. One way distance to the cache is 1.9 miles with about 400 feet of elevation gain. Along the way you will have many great opportunities to view Orange County, Chino Hills State Park, and the hills north of Chino Hills SP. The cache is a 8" diameter / 10" tall container.

The best parking and location to start is at the top end of Olinda Drive (N33°55.936', W117° 48.089'). From here, pass the gate and head north along the paved road. Do not worry about the “No Trespassing” sign; it refers to the properties on the sides of the road, and means no vehicles up the blacktop road past the gate. At around the 1 mile mark (N33°56.542', W117° 47.915') you will be at a water tower. Follow the fence to the north side of the water tower and continue along a thin trail to the cache. You will know you are close when you see this view:

Please treat this cache as if it were your own. Watch for nongeocachers, rehide it better than you found it, trade equally or better, and be safe.
