Roswell That Ends Well Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Frog Dog and Corker: There are so many people to thank for helping us pull off our third event.

The biggest thank you goes to UUESLEY who came up with the idea of enlisting attendees to hide the caches. Fantastic idea! It's not often that the hosts get to geocache all day long instead of hanging around waiting for everyone to return. What fun! Thank you, UUESLEY, for expertly handling all the technical stuff, designing and making the nametags, getting the info on 23 new caches organized and in print in less than an hour (Wow!), and for remaining calm throughout all the planning (while one who shall remain corkless was having daily meltdowns).

Thank you to everyone who hid a cache. We were so impressed with the variety of hides, the creativity, and the fact that 23 teams were able to pull it off in less than 13 hours (most of which was after dark). We've forgiven pinkiandthebrain for their clever and most frustrating "Shot in the Dark", and are grateful to Dave Plugge for finally showing up and spotting the cache. Thank you to our fine Roswell cachers who restrained themselves in the weeks leading up to the event by not placing hides within 1000' of the designated areas, and to those who hid some really fun caches for everyone's entertainment the next day.

We especially want to thank everyone who attended. YOU are what made the event what it was!! It was so good seeing so many new faces and of course those we run into around town or at other events. We hope to see all of you the next time UUESLEY talks us into another Roswell event......

........ And he's promised to bring Reynolds reinforcements.

If you've been to a FD&C Event in the past, you know that it lasts all weekend.

Rumor has it that there just might be several more new caches popping up throughout the weekend.

You can meet the folks hiding the caches, or even get a chance to hide one yourself at the Hiding Out in Roswell Event Friday evening at the Snazzy Pig.

Update: Dogs are allowed in the park, but the city requests that they be on leashes and that the owners CITO after their pets, or is that CIPO?
