Permission
to access the bridge has been granted by Kenneth Felt who
controls the bridge right of way. We only ask that you do
not drive over the bridge as it appears that some of the
planking is starting to rot. This is a historical bridge built
by Richard Felt in 1896 and rebuilt by Kenneth Felt in 1998
which was the first bridge to cross the Mississippi River
between Lake Itasca and Bemidji - way to go Mr. Felt.

This should be a quick park and grab for the ardent geocacher.
If you are coming from Bemidji, take the first dirt trail to the
left just before the culvert which lets the mighty Mississippi
River pass beneath the road. Enjoy the view and remember to act
wisely and respect Mr. Felt's wishes to not drive over the
bridge!
