IMB : Look to Windward Multi-Cache

The second of my IMB series - a single offset multi-cache.
This final GZ of this cache has now moved back to Rottnest Island, where it originally was.
I am leaving the onshore GZ in place until the end of February 2012 for those who might have already started the cache before today (20/1/12).
Iain M Banks is probably my favourite SF author. This cache celebrates his novel 'Look to Windward'. The story chronicles the consequences of a Culture intervention in a far flung space society that goes horribly wrong, triggering a civil war in which several billion die. Many years later the Culture's efforts to make reparation interact with an attempt to take revenge.
The coordinates provided take you to a location where you will find information needed to get to the final cache. Find the info, look to windward and off to the cache!
At the first waypoint you will find 3 information boards. You need the centre board. Ignoring all beaches and oceans make a note of the first word of the remaining item. You will need to form an 'alpha to number' code as follows:
Write the 26 letters of the alphabet out in a row. Using the letters of the key word, starting with 0 for the first letter of the word, write the numbers 0 to 5 under the corresponding letters of the alphabet. Ignore any repeated letters. Now fill in the gaps by writing the next larger number under the letter to the right of the key letters using only the digits 0-9, ie after a 1, write 2 then 3 etc, until you reach the next keyword letter. Restart the process with the number under the keyword letter until all the letters have a number under them.
You are in a good place if A=9 and K=0.
