Cache is located on the western shore of Crémaillère Bay. This area was a popular weekend adventure destination for me when I was young. Great place to walk the beach, climb rocks, pick berries or have a fire. One of my favorite memories is watching Capelin rolling on the beach. This area was the proposed site for a Chinese whaling station but construction was halted and the site abandoned after changes in whaling laws.
Access is gained via gravel road off of Goose Cove Road by vehicle or by foot. You can drive to within 100 feet of cache. Road is not maintained. There are big potholes and trees to scratch your paint so if you drive, be warned.
Container is a tobacco tub (3" X 6") and is covered in duct tape. It contains a logbook and pen/pencil. Please make sure bags and container are sealed when you leave.
