Located on a trail system in Shubenacadie. Please be respectful of the location and parking area.
MacInnis Trail is a trail system growing almost within our own backyard, which is really exciting for us. Up until now, if we wanted to go for a nice walk … we were relegated to fields, woods, roadways or getting in our cars and driving to another location. Now, thanks to the efforts of some determined local volunteers, 3 levels of government funding and the work of the Shubenacadie Community Development Association … we have the beginnings of a trail system. Special mention must also be given to a couple of generous gentlemen who donated their land to make this trail happen. One in particular whom the trail was named after. Please park at the small parking lot at the trail head. There are signs there and picnic tables. The business is no longer in operation, but has been converted into a private home. The parking for the trails remains the same, just please be respectful when in the area. Enjoy the trails … we think they are awesome!!! Enjoy the trails … we think they are awesome!!!
