Initially placed ap part of a linear canal walk, but it could be done as a cache and dash.
A gentle canal stroll
This gentle stroll along the canal starts at Goldstone Wharf. A beautiful spot especially on a sunny evening.
Parking for 4 or 5 cars at the waypoint below (please don't block the gate)
At the first bridge (or second if you count the one you start from) you can leave the towpath and follow a diverted public footpath. It used to lead up to Westcott Mill but has now been re-routed through the field next to the canal.

Keep an eye out for muggles. You might want to take some bread along for the ducks
