Duck Duck Goose III Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

SloTwitch: This is my only multiple hide, not my favorite type. (more than one place to look for and only one smiley---what's to like?) In any event, it wasn't difficult and only had three places to find. This is a great site for a cache so I hope someone hides a new one.

Geocache Description:

This is a fairly easy multi-cache, two stages and then the final one with the log to sign. One note of precaution might be in order. This park in addition to having a lovely location or perhaps because of the location is a very popular place and is well used both throughout the week and on weekends during the summer. Stealth will almost certainly be required.

The cache is named for the popular children's game. I liked the name for this because we are playing a game too plus there is an obvious local population of ducks and, yes, geese too. The geese bite kids and probably adults too. That's what geese do and we shouldn't be feeding them anyway so keep your distance and no one will be hurt. The photo below is that of a Wood Duck. Many male ducks are attractive but the male Wood Duck stands out even in that group. There are Wood Ducks in the area even perhaps in the immediate area. For more information, both Aullwood and Brukner Nature Centers can be helpful. Remember, this is a very well used city park---lots of muggles.
