The Micro-Manager Traditional Cache
Foster Bros: Well, this one had a good run. Checked in on it today and it has disappeared. Since it was large and likely will disappear again, I'll archive and open the spot for someone else.

This cache is designed to encourage cachers not to hide micros.
Not so long ago, and rather nearby, a sport known as geocaching was born. Cachers used their GPS to locate tupperware hidden in the bush by other people, and this was good. Then people started hiding larger and smaller caches, so cache size categories were born. There was small, regular, and large, and this was good. Then people came up with creative hides, but needed smaller caches, and the micros were conceived, and this was good. Then micros were hidden in fashions that were not clever, but lame, and this was not good.
Now, we are faced with a plight - micros are taking over Calgary. There are micro caches everywhere you turn, and they are becoming more and more common. But how do we stop this invasion?!
Enter: The Micro-Manager.
So our original plan wasn't as simple as going to the coordinates and finding the cache to get a smiley. We were going to restrict you to only logging a find if you traded in a micro for one of the larger caches, but have since re-read the geocaching guidelines and that breaks the rules.
Which means the new deal is as follows:
Find the cache. Sign the logbook. Get a smiley.
Within the big Rubbermaid tub, there is a Lock 'n Lock clearly labelled "Regular Trading Items" that contains all the normal trading items, TBs and Geocoins, and the logbook for Micro-Manager. This is the logbook you need to sign for your smiley to count for this cache.
There are also 10 pre-made caches in the Rubbermaid. Each of the premade caches in The Micro-Manager comes complete with a Lock 'n Lock container, a logbook, a pencil, and the cache note. You'll have to provide your own trading items. Please only trade micros into the cache for these larger caches.
The final container in the Rubbermaid is a small sandwich container labelled "Micro Cache Depository". This is where you can leave your micro-caches when you trade them for larger containers, and they will then be disposed of properly.
There's a bonus for trading in your micros - if you have lots of micros out there, you can trade every one of them in for a larger cache! Each micro you exchange can count for another find on the Micro-Manager! You get a smiley every time you put a micro in the cache.
Please contact us if the cache is becoming depleted on small and regular sized caches so that we can come and replenish it. You are always welcome to come and find the cache again and log it again so long as you meet the micro-trading requirements.
Keep in mind - no lame micros makes all Calgary Area Cachers happier!
