Geocache Description:

A good excuse to explore the footpaths close to Castle Combe and enjoy the countryside around the By Brook stream.

The cache can be approached on scenic footpaths from N,E,S or W, but the bridleway from the recommended parking spot to the south offers the least muddy route. The paths can be quite steep with some loose stones and slippery when wet, so take care please. Not suitable for children's buggies unless you're adventurous. Bring an OS map (& also your wellies if it's been raining!).

You're looking for a small/medium sized click-seal tupperware box. This area can be quite busy, especially at weekends, so be aware! The cache is not far from a great little stone bridge spanning the By Brook stream (which is a lovely place to roll your trousers up in the summer, or splash around in wellies). The classic village of Castle Combe is not far away and has a couple of good pubs for refreshments.
