Some information about St. Mergeles Marijos Taikos Karalienes Church:
In 1956m. the government gave the permission to build a church.
In June 30, 1957 the corner-stone of the church was consecrated.
Architects: J. Baltrenas and K. Zdoncius; engineer-designers V. Žemaitis and B. Bacevicius, master A. Stonys
In August 15 , 1960 the church was closed.
The main fresco of the church is 96 sq m - the author painter A. Kmiekiauskas.
The authors of the mat fresco are from Klaipeda: A. Banyte (7 trespasses) and J. Vosylius (Jonas baptizer).
The church is 63 metres long and 25 metres wide. Naves are 14.5 metres high. The tower is 46.5 metres high.
Over the front door there is a statue of Marija Taikos Karaliene, which is 2.8 metres high.

1957 m. birželio 30 d. pašventintas bažnycios kertinis akmuo

1960 m. rugpjucio 15 d. pranešama, jog bažnycia uždaroma
Pagrindine bažnycios freska 96 kv.m. – autorius dailininkas A. Kmieliauskas
Šoniniu fresku autoriai klaipedieciai : A. Banyte (septynios nuodemes) ir J. Vosylius (Jonas Krikštytojas)
Bažnycia - 63 m. ilgio, ir 25 m. plocio. Navu aukštis – 14,5 m, bokšto aukštis – 46,5 m. Virš frontiniu duru esanti Marijos Taikos Karalienes statula – 2,8 m.
1988 m. lapkricio 25 d. aukotos pirmosios Šv. Mišios atgautoje bažnycioje. Bažnycia atstatyta pagal pirmini projekta J. Baltreno ir meistro A. Stonio.
