Located in Cheesequake State Park off the blue trail. Terrain is varied and easy with steps on hills. Kid friendly.
The cache is a clear red-topped plastic container initially containing a log book, various coins, pins and keychain. The cache was once known as Cheesecake Gone Blue. The park is a wonderful park just off the Garden State Parkway. It contains freshwater and saltwater marshes and a tidal estuary off the Cheesequake Creek off the Raritan Bay. The trails are well maintained going through groves of eastern white cedars and decidious forests with patches of mountain laurel and pitch pines.
