Geocache Description:


If "Take The High Road" has taken your fancy you will find this cache location to equal or even better it. All you have to do is take the high road in the opposite direction and keep right on to the end.

The National Trust have done a magnificient job in clearing a pathway that gives superb views along the whole stretch of it and the round trip can be completed in less than an hour.

However, for those who haven't ventured to this glorious spot before, why not pay it a visit and discover the other four caches close bye as well and cover them all in approx. 1 - 11/2 hours.

Portmuck Harbour
Isle of Pigs

The cache is a small tab-lock box containing a log book, pencil and some small items to swop but do be careful and wear suitable footwear as the rocks at the start can be quite slippery.

Enjoy your caching and at the same time really enjoy the beauty of this unspoilt section of coastline.

Permission to place the cache has been granted by the National Trust and my thanks go to them for their interest and co-operation.

Car parking is at the harbour and is completely FREE!!!!!
