Welcome to the fourth and final installment of the “Becoming a Jedi” series. I hope you have enjoyed them, and that your geocaching skills have been honed to laser-like perfection!
Update Posted 2/28/11 - Originally, this was a series of caches which required you to find a code located in the lid of each final container in order to go on and find the next in the series. As these have been out for some time now, I’ve decided to provide you with all the codes so you may now attack these as stand-alone caches. Have fun!!!

Also, it appears that the "entrance" to this cache might be able to be forced open (no pun intended). Please do not do this! 3/4 of the fun of this cache is finding the entrance key!

So, you have advanced from Youngling (Jedi 1), to Padawan (Jedi 2), to Master (Jedi 3) and thought the journey was over? As the Emperor once said, “You are mistaken young Skywalker…about a great many things!” Complete this final test and you may join the select ranks of Jedi Council Members!
The Empire is building a second Death Star and the Emperor is growing stronger with each passing day. The Rebels have discovered the location of the new Death Star, but it’s being protected by a heavily guarded shield generator located on the nearby planet. You must find the secret entrance, avoiding all Imperial guards, and secure the perimeter. Once you hold the entrance, you must find the pass-key to enter. This will not be an easy task, as the Empire changes keys on a regular basis. You are fighting against overwhelming odds, so you must use all of your Jedi-heightened senses to finish alive!
The listed coordinates are to the closest available parking, although you may also reach this cache by hiking from the final of Jedi 2, if you’d like a longer walk. At the parking spot, take the trail leading into the woods to the Shield Generator which is located at:

At this location you will find a coin with the symbol shown in the picture below . Somewhere, within a 25’ radius, you will find its match. (06/08/14 - Coin on "Shield Generator" is missing, but the match is still in place) Once you have made this discovery, the key to unlocking success will be in your hands!
