A small cache on the Long Path in East Windham. Just over 1/2 mile walk from the trailhead.
The East Windham Long Path Cache is hidden along the Long Path, just outside of the Catskill Park. Parking is at the intersection of Rte 23 and Cross Road. The trailhead is just 100 ft. up Cross Road north of the parking area. You will pass a registration box, then the trail parallels Rte 23 for about 0.3 mile. The trail then leaves Catskill Park and turns left away from Rte 23. You will enter an old spruce/hemlock forest. The cache is hidden close to the trail and is a small camo-ed container. The Long Path continues on from here, crossing Old Road and continuing up Jennie Notch Road.
