Situated at Wide Waters. Part of the Buckpool and Fenspool Nature Reserve and locally known as Paddy’s Cut!
Wide Waters is at the end of the Fens pool branch of the Stourbridge canal. Fed from the nearby Fens Pools and now cut off from the main canal by the road.
Iron and coal was once transferred here from the railway to narrow boats via wharves that used to line the branch.
The cache is near the water so be carfull with geo-kids and don't drop it because it will sink.
Please be discreet and re hide the cache well as this is a HIGH MUGGLE AREA!!
Can be done as a cache and dash!
Parking can be found near the Ex Public House or at the Dell Stadium play area.
