Small cache on an old cemetary in Newwood
This cache is not on any grave stone so please be respectfull.
Zion Lutheran Church was at this site from the fall of 1937 to November 9th, 1948. The modern head stone is for a baby buried here. As far as I know there are a few more unmarked graves but not many. The town of Newwood was built on the corner here with a train station, store, church and other buildings for the logging going on in the area. Now nothing remains but the tribute to the people buried there.
