This is a series of 19 traditional caches placed around Weymouth. The route takes you through a residential area, past the Weymouth Rugby Club, around the Lodmoor Country Park, along the
Esplanade, around the harbour, across to the RSPB Reserve and back along Radipole Lake. Distance is approximately 6 miles. Much of the route is on designated cycle and foot paths, along which the caches are located. Please note the No Cycling signs on the Esplanade, they are strictly enforced.
There is nothing to collect, no bonus. The caches are intended to be simple to find and finding sequence is entirely up to where you decide to park.
There are various free parking points. Between caches 1 and 2 along the residential Monmouth Avenue. Near cache no 4 on Southdown Avenue/Oakbury Drive. Or along Radipole Park Drive near the tennis courts. In the town, you may very well have to pay Weymouth Council for a parking space. They were set on our cycles – a much preferred way to travel around Weymouth.
There are several other caches already in existence placed quite close to the route which you may like to look up and find.
