Geocache Description:

a Geo Cache with a writing assignment...not a long one though

The American west has captured the imagination of generations. In the Log I want to know what you think of when you think of “the West”. Do you see Coronado Marching in search of the seven cities? Maybe Apaches, Navajo, or Zuni peoples living in Small villages? Does the west conjure up imagery of cowboys and outlaws, trains and wagons? Do you think of the Scientist that shaped the west, like Clarence King or John Wesley Powell? Take a moment to look out from this spot and imagine all those who have affected this area and then write a short paragraph or a couple of sentences about “the West”. I look forward to reading them.

The Log book is 80 pages or more, once the book gets filled there is an envelope so the log can be mailed to me so i can read them.

park at the sign for the Craters of the Moon. Enjoy. hide it as good as you found it.
