Tinn museum er et folkemuseum med kulturhistoriske gårdhus, som tar for seg det gamle bondesamfunnet i denne region. Her kan du studere bygningshistorie fra 1000-tallet og fram mot 1900. Her kan man også se de sosiale skillene mellom bonde og husmann, og hvordan folk gradvis fikk bedre leveforhold.

Tinn Museum is a folkmuseum featuring culturally historic farm buildings that deal with the ancient farming community in the region. Here you can study building history from the 1000s up to 1900 and see the social divisions between farmer and crofter, and how people gradually improved their standard of living.
Tinn Museum also houses a large collection of artefacts including stave church doorways, textiles, materiel from second World War, and ond prints and drawings. The museum also has a lot of equipment and furnishings from the old farming community.
